Liberal Manifesto II

When it’s war it war!!!

No more turning the other cheek

Looking so meek

That the lion smells the fear in the air

The coyotes even catch a sense of the aroma

As you stand alone in a desolate forest

Dark and cold no light shines through the darkness

Just embers of stars.

But in this war its life or death

It’s regression or progression

You ask yourself

Am I ready for the test?

Your heart beats fast

But in this race you have to last

As they raise their army to gain strength

You must stay resolved in what is right

Ready to put up a fight for the weak

It’s time for the meek to inherit this earth.

Stop the rebirth of the conservatives

The ones who changed the way we live.

Killed our economy, killed our kids,

Planned to take the money and run.

But since we kicked them out

The battle has just begun.

They want control of the world church

Never mind the millions they hurt

They just want it back.

Fools resurrected from what seemed a certain demise

Back on earth like the new Jesus to our surprise

Yelling Tea Bags for all Americans as they attempt to sand bag our choice

attempting to drown out our voices that were cast as votes.

As if they didn’t remember that we won.

But it is not enough for these conservatives who want to rewrite the constitution

Re-Ignite a civil war and re live the last eight years of trickery that made them believe

That everything was just fine.

Never mind, a great depression, lives lost in a war of aggression, No WMD’s,

No answer to Katrina’s pleads, our economy in the tank, and used Wall Street

to rob the banks.

So don’t step back, step forward with the fire of those who tread the waters to get us where we are today.

And for those who yell fire in a theater, for them we will pray.

That they will be cured of their insanity and hatred and take a liberal approach to being conservative.

A quote from the past:

A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned how to walk forward.”

Franklin D. Roosevelt
